MTP1500C is an E1 protection equipment R&Ded by Telesea using our self-developed LSI chips. This equipment provides 1+1 2M transmission line protection for 4 E1 channel. The system automatically selects the optimum 2M line to ensure the the reliability and the safety of the user's data transmission.

This equipment provides two modes of protections as lossy protection and lossless protection. Under lossless protection mode, the data on the protected E1 line transmits continuously despite of the E1 line-switching, user's data won't be disrupted or lost. The protected E1 line has to be transmitting data in PCM30/PCM31 frame format (CRC optional) under lossless protection mode. Lossy protection means the protected E1 line transmits transparently on the protective channel. It requires nothing for the E1 frame format but the data transmission breaks temporarily during the E1 line-switching so as to cause instant data-loss. User can pick between these two protection modes depending on specific requirement. With the NMS on MTP1500A, user can observe and monitor the signal quality on the line and the line-switching.

■ Optional protection modes for different applications. Lossy protection and lossless protection are optional, so are automatic switching and manual switching.

■ When LOS, AIS and LOF alarm occurs tothe E1 link, the E1 link switching time is less than 1ms.

■ Simultaneous transmitting&Selective receiving, namely the equipment transmits signals over 2 links simultaneously but only the link with relatively better signals will be picked on the receiving side.

■ Power-off protective circuits. Whenpower-off occurs, transmitting continues through one link.

■ Provide 2M loopback function, which is an effective mean for link diagnosing and also made it easy for installation and maintenance.

■ Integrate circuit auto-switching andsignal quality monitoring. Abundant alarm indications including LED, alarm sound, rack alarm output etc.

■ 1+1 dual power supply (220VAC and -48VDC)supported and the power inlet is lightning-proof.

■ 1U 19-inch chassis. Light and compact, low consumption and high reliability.
